On the second and fourth Saturday of each month at 10 am, Salvage Garden presents "The Banquet", a sensory worship experience that is a one-of-a-kind gathering. The Banquet is an engaging 45-minute service not bound by words; integrating sight, sound, taste, touch and smell. Sensory worship is an ecumenical gathering in a safe and relevant space that celebrates differences and similarities, abilities and disabilities, stressing that who we are is important, because each person is valuable and worthy of love, with inherent gifts and a common spirituality, expressed in unique, diverse ways.
Salvage Garden strives to reclaim the value of all individuals, emphasizing their inclusion and integration in multiple settings, while supporting each person on a unique path to wholeness. Through person-centered programming and support, as well as training and education for the community, Salvage Garden cultivates transformation by restoring hope, inspiring change and growing community awareness.
Salvage Garden believes in beautiful things. Everyone experiences the seasons of life...With a multi-dimensional approach that spans one-on-one support and educational events, Salvage Garden offers fertile and delightful ground to help all individuals grow through all the seasons of life. There is something to salvage; something beautiful can grow out of us.
